ADMISSION REMINDERS

Important Deadline Dates for Your Students
Once a student applies to U of T Engineering, they will receive an acknowledgment email from the Engineering Admissions Office with instructions on logging in to their Engineering Applicant Portal, where they will complete their Online Student Profile, upload their transcripts, and track their admission status.

Online Student Profile – Submission Deadline February 1
The Online Student Profile (OSP) is the applicant’s opportunity to provide the Engineering admission office with a better understanding of them as a person, including their strengths outside of the classroom. Applications will not be considered until all sections of OSP are completed:

  • Program Choices: Rank your top four U of T Engineering programs in order of preference.
  • Applicant Timeline: Provide a brief timeline of your full-time academic activities since the beginning of high school
  • Other Information:  If you have taken, or plan to take, AP, SAT, or ACT exams, provide us with the details and the dates of your exams
  • Academic Profile: Provide detailed information about your academic history (e.g. grades and credentials)
  • Extracurricular Profile: Provide detailed information about your extracurricular activities
  • Personal Profile: Provide your responses to three questions; two video and one written (see the related instructional video above)
  • Engineering Assessment Fee: Pay your Engineering Assessment Fee to complete your OSP
  • Document Upload:  Upload transcripts for any secondary or post secondary studies completed or in progress

Interim Transcripts – Submission Deadline February 1

The Engineering Applicant Portal lists the documents that an applicant is required to submit and those that have already been received in support of their application. Students are encouraged to check their portals regularly, as document requirements may be added as the Engineering Admission Office receives more information about their academic history.

  • Applicants can submit scans of their transcripts in the Document Upload section of the Engineering Applicant Portal.
  • Transcripts can also be submitted via Naviance, e-docs, Docufide or Parchment from schools that use these services.
  • Applicants who wish to submit transcripts by mail should print a barcode address label from the Dashboard section of the Engineering Applicant Portal to ensure that their transcript is delivered to the Engineering Admissions Office directly.
