Arts High School Scholarship Program


The purpose of this portal is to enable you to complete your Scholarship Application and submit all supporting information online.  Please note you must be majoring in one of the following:
Advertising, Architecture, Art Studies, Dance, Digital Art, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Media Design, Interior Design, Journalism, Music, Professional Writing, Radio/TV/Film, Studio Art, Theater Arts.
If you believe your major is in the study of the arts but is not included on this list, please contact our office by email: info@spicewoodarts.org.

After Registering you can return here any time you wish and use the Student Login link on the left.

Before you begin completing the application, please look at the Scoring Criteria link on the left.
This chart outlines specific criteria of how your application will be scored.
Please keep these criteria in mind when completing your application in order to increase the number of points your application receives.

MINIMUM CRITERIA:


LTHS SENIOR SWIMMER OR DIVER WHO IS PURSUING A HIGHER EDUCATION

FAMILY MUST BE MEMBER OF THE LTHS SWIM/DIVE BOOSTER CLUB

ATHLETE MUST HAVE BEEN A MEMBER OF THE TEAM FOR AT LEAST 2 FULL SEASONS

APPLICANT MUST HAVE A CUMULATIVE, WEIGHTED GPA OF AT LEAST 90.0

Lake Travis Education Foundation Scholarship

LTEF SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

LTEF scholarships are for graduating seniors of Lake Travis High School.

DUE DATE: Friday, March 15, 2019

The LTEF scholarship package involves three steps:

1) Visit the counseling office to request a copy of your 7-semester transcript, and pick it up in time to submit with your reference letters.  (Transcripts issued prior to the end of the 7th semester will not qualify your application for further review.)

2) 03/15/19 - no later than 3:30 pmTwo hand-signed letters of professional reference (non-relatives) must be delivered to the high school counselor's office.  It is the student's responsibility to be sure that letters arrive in time, whether delivered by the student or by the person writing the letter.  In addition, if you did not have your SAT/ACT scores submitted to LTHS, please drop off a copy of your test scores in the collection box with your reference letters.

3) 03/15/19 - no later than 12:00 MIDNIGHT: Complete online application and submit by midnight. There will be no exceptions.

2019 Southern Texas PGA Scholarship Application

The Southern Texas PGA Foundation Scholarship Program has been providing higher education scholarships since 1999 to golfers and non-golfers alike, and in that time, has awarded more than 339 scholarships and $974,100.

Eligibility & Evaluation Criteria 

To be eligible for a Southern Texas PGA Foundation Scholarship, all applicants must meet the following requirements:
  • Applicants must currently reside within the geographic boundaries of the Southern Texas PGA Section
  • Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance to meet educational expenses
  • Applicants must have completed (or plan to complete) high school prior to September 1 of the current calendar year and have enrolled (or plan to enroll) in an accredited college or university in the fall of the current calendar year.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
    • High School Seniors are required to take the ACT or SAT.
Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, and financial need, not on golf accomplishments or ability. Recipients are selected to receive scholarships solely based on the items submitted with this application.

United Heritage Community Scholarship

United Heritage Community Scholarship

Each year, the Charity Foundation awards college scholarship funds to high school seniors who best exemplify the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People.” Because the Charity Foundation believes in the importance of community service, responsibility and helping the citizens of Central Texas, the scholarships are awarded to those students who have demonstrated their dedication to these causes.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Applications must be postmarked on or before February 15, 2019.
  • Applications must be complete to be considered.
  • Applicants must either be a member of United Heritage or related to a United Heritage member.
  • Applicants must follow all directions so that no unnecessary points are deducted from the overall score. See Sample Application
  • Applicants must submit the application addenda for Community ServiceExtracurricular Activities and Scholastic Achievement using the Scholarship Activities spreadsheet format. (The Excel file provided contains sample information in three (3) separate tabs.)
  • Applicant as well as a parent or legal guardian must sign application.
  • Interviews may be held with the top five scholarship finalists.
  • Scholarship recipient must attend an institution of higher learning the following fall.
  • Scholarship winner will be requested to submit a photograph.

Selection Criteria

A committee of United Heritage Charity Foundation representatives selects the scholarship recipient. The recipient will be selected according to the following criteria:
 
  • Community service
  • Character and leadership qualities
  • Extracurricular activities
  • Scholastic achievement
  • Essay response
  • Letters of recommendation
Preference will be given to those students who demonstrate extraordinary community and civic service.
